Spreadsheets are awesome! It’s still how I keep track of my expenses and invoicing haha.
I actually use a monthly retainer model for most of my clients, so I am able to easily see where my money comes from vs how much time is spent per client.
I try to have 5–6 monthly clients at all times and at least 1 project on top of that (maybe editing a book).
