Most of my clients DO come from referrals, but I believe it is always important to be expanding your sphere of influence, too.

For one, it brings in new projects and clients I wouldn’t have gotten a chance to work on/with, which I love because having diverse projects is something I enjoy. And for another, I don’t spend that much time actually doing the marketing.

I make it a habit, but it is not especially time consuming, which I prefer!
