I don't think it's rude. I am also a writer, and I left this article thinking that I still don't understand where any of the money came from outside of the blog/youtube in #1. She mentions client work and even marketing herself but gives zero information what that work was...and how did she make almost $5k from client work but claim it wasn't value she provided?
