I actually don’t usually stick to strick keto anymore, in the sense that I don’t actively count carbs any longer. I’ve learned over the last 2 years of being low carb what foods do and don’t have carbs and a lot of sugar, and I simply take care to avoid it and stick to a high fat-medium protein-low carb structure without meticulously counting carbs.
I’ve enjoyed trying and reviewing Green Chef’s keto meal delivery box and Ketoned Bodies meal service.
For me, if I had to modify the meals, I don’t think the meal delivery services would be worth the money, since I could buy the ingredients locally and just cook the meal with keto-friendly ingredients at home, but I did enjoy trying a couple of new recipes from the box!
With this one, even though it was precooked, it was all low carb and was convenient. I was also wary, which is why I had to try! I was overall happy with the experience.
I think I’d do it again and order more meals and freeze them, and then use them for those “I don’t feel like cooking but I don’t want takeout” type of nights.
