Hitting A Major Medium Milestone

It’s a celebration, ya’ll!

I have been on Medium since the end of 2016 — before there was a partner program or memberships, before there were claps (it was hearts), before it became a well-known platform, really.

I’ve written about professional and personal milestones, work stuff, business stuff, very personal stuff, mental health, and so much more.

Blogging is my therapy, my work, my pleasure, and my outlet.

I have been a “top writer” in multiple categories multiple times over the years.

There were times when I posted new blog posts daily, weekly, and sometimes, in times of struggle, monthly.

Overall, I have published 464 stories on my Medium account.

And last week, I was met with a happy milestone.

I hit 10,000 followers on Medium!

Woohoo!

This is a major milestone for me.

I remember hitting 100 followers here.

And 1000.

I remember the first time I received a note from medium saying that only 1% of writers make over $100 per month on Medium — while receiving over $250 that month.

Medium was never about making money for me. Most months I make around $150. Nothing to sneeze at, of course, but it isn't what I rely on to make rent.

In conclusion, yay! And thank you.
