Hi, thank you for commenting. None of my current clients are websites, though I do do some copywriting for their company websites if they need it.
The 2 retainer clients are small businesses and I write and edit things for them like Kickstarter campaigns, online course content, social media posts, press releases, etc. My non-retainer clients, one is marketing campaign writing and press releases, the other is editing books. Publisher client is for manuscript editing and I found them originally through a referral of a writer friend of mine. Individual book editing is almost always referrals or people I’ve reached out to on social media who have said they are writing a book. Book coaching is the same. Medium and Amazon are two websites I earned money from.
If you mean websites where I find clients, when I do marketing, I usually respond to job ads on sites like ProBlogger, WritingAxis, Flexjobs, and Craigslist, or reach out to companies directly on Instagram, Facebook, or through their website contact page.
If you mean how they pay the money, it’s usually either PayPal or direct transfer to my business account.
I don’t use sites like Upwork or other content mills for making money, I just don’t prefer them.
