Adaptability is How You Succeed in Business & Life

As we progress and the advent of new technology is seemingly non-stop, I have realized that the best employee or employer isn’t just smart, challenging, and embracing technology — it’s adaptability that means the most.

The only thing you can count on in life is change. No matter how comfortable you get, no matter how much you want everything to stay exactly as it is right now, that’s just not how life works.

People get sick, are laid off, have financial or relationship struggles, loved ones pass away, and more. It’s part of life.

You can’t just live in a bubble where everything stays the same (unfortunately).

So, how do you get ahead?

By being adaptable.

Intelligence =/= Success

Someone can be extremely intelligent but still not successful. Take the college-educated, high-IQ film writer who hasn’t worked in several years because he refuses to use the tools and technology that other filmmakers and writers now expect to be used. He thinks he’s being a “real” writer by not using AI to check his work, generate ideas, or review structure and story arcs for cohesion. He could even use it for simple help, such as…
